Pervasive allows us to take some of the 'world's ugliest data' and turn it into structured data that can be used in downstream processes. In New Jersey, we've taken legacy data, Excel files, and third-party data and made it useful. New Jersey is now on the leading edge in terms of first aid tracking and analysis."

Pervasive Data Profiler Evaluation Center

This Evaluation Center has been designed to make your evaluation easier and more successful.

Based on our experiences with thousands of integration customers, Pervasive has designed a curriculum consisting of a series of exercises, a list of reading materials, and several short online videos to help you come up to speed quickly on Pervasive Data Profiler.

To help ensure a successful evaluation, go through the steps below, in the order listed.

Installation Steps:

1) You should have received a confirmation email from Pervasive with a license file for Pervasive Data Profiler. If you have not received this email, please contact Pervasive. This license file is required. Save the attached license to a location you will remember once the product is installed.

2) Review the Pervasive minimum system requirements and installation overview for Windows.

3) If you have not already downloaded the Pervasive Data Profiler installation package, you can do that by following the link specified in your confirmation email.

4) Double Click on your downloaded Pervasive Data Profiler *.exe to begin the installation process.

5) If you are presented with an option to install either the "Analyst Workstation" version of the product, or the "Engine" version, choose "Workstation." The "Workstation" option also installs a fully functional engine. The "Engine" option is for runtime environments only.

6) Download the most recent version of the "samples" data files.  These are used during the tutorials exercises.

Important note about license files

Some email servers will strip out the contents of the attached .slc license file in your confirmation email, or will drop the file altogether.

If your license file was not attached to your confirmation email, or is less than 10KB in size, or if you get a message from the Pervasive license manager that your license file is invalid, please contact Pervasive immediately and we will arrange an alternate way of delivering your license file.
