This release of Data MatchMerge provides functionality and improvements in the following areas.
Improved Support for Multiple Sources
A simple mapping wizard has been provided to enable quicker creation of match and merge operations for data from two different source files.
In addition to features added since the last release, fixes and enhancements have been made in response to change requests from customers, internal quality engineering, and technical support engineering. For a list of these items, download the change log from Product Updates on the Pervasive web site.
The additional data grid was removed for single-source configurations, which reduces the number of user inputs needed to make selections.
Multiple source configurations now support the ability to click the primary (master) source to select data elements for the new merged record. A simple mapping interface allows the user to define the mapping when field names are different.
The default configuration property files and associated sample data have been improved to shorten learning time.
Database and table connections are taken from the current property file to reduce need for user input.
A statistical report of the matching metrics now provides a quick summary of match and merge results. The report can help to gauge success of matching properties as you refine them. Additional reports are planned.
This topic provides information about the documentation included with Data MatchMerge.
The user’s guide is provided in an html-based system that is indexed and searchable.
These release notes are provided in an HTML file.
